Fifth Avenue Committee
The Fifth Avenue Committee, Inc. (FAC) is a
not-for-profit, community-based organization.
Since 1977, we have been promoting social and economic
justice in South Brooklyn, principally by developing and managing affordable
housing, creating employment opportunities, organizing residents and
workers, and combating displacement caused by gentrification.
We are neighbors working together for a vibrant, diverse
community where all residents have genuine opportunities to achieve their
goals, as well as the power to shape the community's future.
